Lake Tahoe Part II
June 28, 2009I know it’s time to get back to real life, but before I do I just have to post more pictures from our vacation to Lake Tahoe. We went with my 2 sisters, their kids, and my parents. There was a total of 14 of us in a nice large house by the Lake. My parents lived in Lake Tahoe for a few years early in their marriage. In fact it was while living there that I was born. We’ve gone back many many times to go camping, but this year with my sister and I both being pregnant we thought it would be a better idea to have beds and bathrooms. I’m so glad we did!
Amy: Those photos are great. It looks like we missed out on a really great time.
Vacation
June 26, 2009Michelle: I really like these pictures. The one of the clouds almost looks fake. The smiles on those kids are awesome. I'm gonna have to get a copy of the hot tub one.
Carolyn: Great shots of a dad and his daughter fishing! Love the huge fish this cute young man caught. I love the bright beautiful colors in each shot plus the happy smiles of darling children, and touching mother and daughter. Thank you for sharing.
Back to Work
June 25, 2009Our family had a great time in Lake Tahoe this past week. We stayed in a beautiful new home, spent time relaxing, at the lake, and we even did a little fishing with the kids. I’ve been returning emails and calls, and should be caught up with galleries in the next couple of days. I can’t wait to show you some of my trip after I’m caught up. Until then here are some of the gorgeous pine trees that surrounded us for a week.
R and R
June 17, 2009The Campbell family will be away from the office, the internet, and phones until June 25th for a much needed break. I will do my best to answer phone messages and emails, however I have no idea if I will have access where I am going. Thank you for your patience, and I’ll be sure to get back to you when we return.
The Kinnons l Camarillo Family Photographer
June 15, 2009The Kinnon’s and I met up at the Camarillo Ranch for a fun family session. Their adorable daughters could not have been cuter. They kept me on my toes, but that makes it all the more fun. I was able to run, and even lay down on the grass 7 months pregnant and all.

Sari: These are just gorgeous! And what an awesome location!!
Carolyn: These are great photos. A great looking family. I love the picuture of the family sitting on the lawn, also on the huge tree trunk with the bequtiful house in the background. All of the shots are great. The girls are darling.
Summer is here, and it’s time to sign up for your mini session now. Spaces are limited, so book your time slot now.
What is a mini session? Mini sessions are just what they sound like. They are shorter sessions lasting only 30 minutes, with up to 5 people. After the session you receive a gallery of 10-15 images to choose from.
How much is a mini session? $250.00. This includes the session fee, and 3 digital files in color as well as black and white. All other prints and boutique items can be purchased separately (excluding albums). This is a savings of nearly $200.00.
Why should I book a mini session? Mini sessions are for those of you who may not be interested in a full session right now, but still want some updated photos of your family, your child, or you. Clients love to use these for their Holiday Cards, online dating profiles, Gift prints, wall portraits, canvases, and picture perfect handbags. This is the least expensive way to purchase digital files for your personal use.
What dates are the mini sessions? Mini Sessions are scheduled on the following dates, at the following locations:
July 18th: Park Session (Thousand Oaks)
August 8th: Beach Session (Malibu)
August 15th: Urban Session (to be determined)
How do I get a time slot? Please email me at julie@juliecampbellphotography.com with the following information: Your name, the date you are interested in, how many people will be joining you, and the ages of any children coming. Your time slot is reserved once payment is received.
Holley: Too many of us for a mini session but what does your calendar look like in the beginning of August for my family of 7?

Sadie
June 11, 2009I’ve seen this cutie grow up from birth. In fact I was lucky enough to be there when she was born. She is my one year old niece, and she cracks me up every time I see her. I just love to watch her walk around with her cute little tummy sticking out, and a determined look on her face. She doesn’t sit still for more than a second or two as you can see in these photos. She is very confident, and doesn’t let much get in her way. Yes, she’s a typical one year old, and tons of fun.
Michelle: Look at that cute girl. You're gonna have to get her when she is sitting still. She is so fun to watch.
Beth: She is a little person now; looks like she's got a ton of personality, too! I can't believe how big she is!
Amy: Do you think maybe she can send some of that beautiful hair my daughter's way? Sadie is adorable!
3rd Grade Picnic
June 11, 2009The last week of school is nothing but one party after another. Today was no exception. The 3rd graders were at the park playing fun games. I was there to cheer them on, and take some pictures along the way. Tomorrow is finally the last day, and then I get them back to me 100% for 3 months. I’m pretty sure they will get sick of me fast, but I’m looking forward to no homework, and relaxing mornings where we aren’t rushed to get out the door in time.

This reminds me of my school days with my bestest friends, and how we thought the school year would never end, but then we were so sad when it did because we couldn’t spend 6 hours together everyday anymore.

Carolyn: This is such a great picture! I love it! The pose and the happy smiles on these beautiful girls is perfect. Carolyn
First Grade Picnic
June 9, 2009I’ve been slacking on my blog lately while I took some time off from sessions to be with my family, and rejuvenate before the busy summer and fall season begins. I’ve enjoyed Saturdays hanging out at home, or going out to do things we normally wouldn’t be able to when I’m working. This is the last week of school for my kids, and it is full of fun things for them. This morning I saw my oldest in her school play, and then I went to the 1st grade picnic at the park. I am always amazed by the time and energy the room moms take to make these days so much fun for the kids. They had rocket launching, pizza, bubbles, potato sack races, arts and crafts, and face painting.

Carolyn: I enjoy each of the pictures of the school picnics. You captured the moment in them. I feel like I am there watching the activities and enjoying the fun. Great shots! Carolyn
Amy: Dang that looks like tons of fun.
