New Cousins
September 25, 2009Many of you know I come from a big family. I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters. My parents have 16 grandchildren, with one on the way in December. On Tim’s side of the family there are 8 grandchildren. Needless to say my kids have lots of cousins. Noah is so lucky to have a cousin born only 11 days after he was. They met for the first time this week. I wouldn’t say they are best friends yet, but I’m sure they will be as they grow up together. So without further ado here are both of them wide awake and as cute as ever.
Baby Baby
September 23, 2009Two and a half weeks later I’m still enjoying my little munchkin, although I’m a little bleary eyed from not sleeping for more than 2 or 3 hour stretches at a time. He’s already growing too fast. His face is getting fuller, he’s growing multiple chins, and of course a plump little tummy. I was so excited today to get to visit with my new little nephew who just got out of the hospital last night. He looked so much smaller than Noah, even being 11 days younger. I will have to post some pictures of him soon. He’s such a handsome little fellow, and has had a rough time.
In other news, if you want to schedule a Fall photo session, now is the time to do so. I’ve just opened up to booking, and dates are going fast. Email or call right away if you’re interested.
Christy: oh if only I lived closer. I would love some photo's of Kendall like these ones you took. So cute. You truly have a gift!
Janice: Julie, CONGRATULATIONS! Sorry I'm a bit late on it, but I just heard from Mike that you guys finally had your baby boy! (Since Mike and Tim have a class together...) I hope all is well and I'm sure you are a "pro" at this by now... but, needless to say, it is still an exhausting task! He is gorgeous, as is your older 3 kids! :-)

September 21, 2009Four
September 20, 2009Believe it or not I’m still adjusting to the idea that I have four children now. This week has been a little crazy for me. Tim went back to work, Sophie started Joy School, and my sister had her baby.
I am very fortunate to be close to my two sisters. They both recently moved back to Southern California after living far away for many years, and I LOVE having them so close by. Angela and I were pregnant at the same time with our little boys. We spent lots of time on the phone, and in person complaining and whining about being pregnant. Tuesday she had her baby, but unfortunately he has had to be cared for in the NICU since he was born. We’ve had a lot of ups and downs this week as we hear about his status. Luckily he seems to be on the mend now, and will hopefully come home in the next few days. It’s so heartbreaking to see him like this, and the stress it has caused my sister and her husband.
Through all of this I have felt both extremely grateful, and slightly guilty for my healthy little boy. He has been such a blessing to our family, and we all love him more that I thought possible. Four feels absolutely perfect and 100% complete.
