My favorite thing about newborn sessions is seeing new parents with their babies. Every one is different and unique, but what they share is a universal love and admiration for their new little one.  They are always smitten with the new life they have in their home. I love the little stories they tell me about their baby, and how they laugh at their little quirks. It just makes me happy. I enjoyed every minute of my session with this family in their gorgeous home. I really do have the best clients.

I just thought I would share a new storyboard I’m offering. It will look stunning on canvas.

I love it when I’m out and about, and people tell me they read my blog.  Thank you so much all you blog readers out there who take time out of your day to visit. Of course those of you who leave a kind word really make my day.  Most of the people who talk to me about my blog comment on my monthly updates about little Noah. It’s amazing to see how much he has changed in the last 8 months. To think he started out as a little sleepy guy, and is now he’s up all day, and sometimes when those new teeth come in, all night.  He started out with really dark hair that had a hint of auburn, and now it is a gorgeous strawberry blond color.  He’s such a happy little guy, always ready with a smile and a giggle. He’s slowly starting to move around more, but he’s mostly happy to just sit and play. It makes my life much easier, especially when he’s modeling for some of my commercial work.

It’s hard not to be smitten by this handsome  little guy. Look at all that hair, and the way his lips fold up as he sleeps.

My huggable, snuggly little guy is 7 months old. He’s covered in kisses all day every day, and couldn’t be more loved.

Now that he has 4 teeth (he’s gotten one since these were taken) he is a biter. He bites everyone, and everything that comes in his path. The boy even chews on his own toes.

I can’t get enough of his cute little chubby parts. I love the dimples in his knuckles and elbows, the fat rolls on his legs and tummy, his big blue eyes and eye lashes, and the way he curls his toes when he’s excited about something.

The kids saw me taking these pictures, and were horrified I would take pictures of him naked. They kept telling me that he would be really mad at me for doing this when he gets older. They’re probably right.

Little Emilia is not only beautiful, but also very wise. Look at that eye contact at such a young age.

He makes me smile. It’s pretty obvious he’s the light of his parent’s eyes, and the center of their lives for good reason. Thank you for letting me come into your home and spend some time with you. I loved doing it.

Little Miles is already quite the musician. He has a very proud Grandfather.

Check out those eye lashes. The girls will be noticing those for sure.

Now that I am done having babies of my own I am so grateful my job gives me time to visit with them every once in awhile. I can hold them, watch them, listen to their squeaks, and soak up their sweetness. This little angel was no exception.

Life for a 6 month old is all about putting every single thing you can into your mouth, rolling around, cooing and babbling, smiling and laughing, being cranky and whiny, and needing to be held all the time.  Of course at 6 months it’s fashionable to sport chunky tummy and thigh rolls and and ripples.

In just the last couple of weeks he’s gotten 2 teeth, started moving and rolling all over the place (he was content to stay in one place before now), finally started enjoying his solid food, slept well through the night a few times, and is beginning to sit up.

I love these little onesies my friends and family made for Noah at one of my baby showers.

Way back in November Katie was only 3 months, and so dainty and small.  Now she’s the ripe old age of 6 months and a bit bigger.  It was fun to see her, and her parents again.  I love watching my clients grow up.  It is truly an honor to be a small part of their lives.
